SPSS Tournament

A type of sport fighting that originated at Roosevelt High.

It originated as a way for groups of students to train to control their powers and use them in a contained environment as part of a mock fight. It slowly grew into a popular sport amongst those who participated, and was deemed as educationally important within the school. When the Super Powered School System was created, the sport fighting was brought to each new school, and interstate/interschool tournaments were held.

With the addition of more schools as a result of the Super Powered Initiative, the 2003 tournament, the first one since the executive order, is slated to be the largest tournament held yet. (See 2003 SPSS Tournament)
