The (presumably ex-)girlfriend of Mason Thomas.
The weekend before classes started, she and her team(The Hawks) attacked Mercedes Meyers. Mercedes managed to defeat them without using her powers.
This incident is what would lead Mason Thomas to convince John Battle to let them try and spar with PlayerTeam, with Mason's purpose being humiliating the team. This backfired and would eventually lead to Mason and his team attempting to fight PlayerTeam out behind the school, and would lead to his suspension.
Due to this Kayla would attempt to immediately get PlayerTeam out of the preliminaries of the 2003 SPSS Tournament. This failed, and she was relentlessly mocked by Mercedes.
