Rush Hour 2 a film made in 2001. It is the sequel to the original Rush Hour, the story follows where the original left off with Chief Inspector Lee (Jackie Chan) and Detective James Carter (Chris Tucker) travelling to Hong Kong for a holiday however soon after they arrive a bomb explodes in the American Embassy.
Inspector Lee is assigned to solving the case which takes on a personal meaning for him when it is discovered the man behind it is Ricky Tan- his father's former partner who played a large role in his father's death.
The American and Hong Kong authorities soon get into a fight over the jurisdiction of the case. A secret customs agent, Isabella Molina Roselyn Sanchez, becomes Inspector Lee's love interest. Inspector Lee drags a reluctant Carter off to try and solve the case on their own.
Another enemy they must face on their case is the deadly Hu Li played by Zhang Ziyi (of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon fame).
