Gundam

Gundam is a collabolative term for the official (UC) Mobile Suit Gundam series and alternate-universe series, such as Gundam Wing, Japanese anime that feature robot mecha. It as also a catchall term used to describe a type of mecha within those series.

The Gundam series are (in order of release):

There is a primary timeline in the Gundam series, taking place in an era called the Universal Century. These series takes place in the following order:
