The postulants steal infinity stones from Asgard, and Xandar, as well as obtaining the stones from Earth. After being overwhelmed by the stone's power, Doctor Fallow let the stones fall into Thanos' hands. Half the life in the universe was then turned to dust by Thanos in an effort to stave off multiversal annihilation.
